Research-backed solutions for the 3rd trimester, and doula recommendations for labor.

You experience incredible physical changes in the third trimester. Maybe looking noticeably pregnant is thrilling for you, or maybe you’re more focused on pregnancy insomnia and skin that’s desperate for soothing. Maybe it's all of the above.

That’s why we created this kit: it includes must-haves like an organic oil-based balm that soothes your growing belly (and makes a great massage oil for labor and nipple balm for breastfeeding) as well as a luxe eye mask made from our award-winning fabric. We also included top doula-recommended tips and tools for labor and delivery. This complete kit is filled with high-quality essentials, backed by research, that help you feel good—and it makes the perfect gift, too.

What's In The Kit?

FOR RESEARCH-BASED GUIDANCE

The Hacks Pack

  • There are lots of different opinions about what to buy, but few focus on you and your body. We highlight important products and services for you and the best places to get them—with special discounts just for you.

The Labor & Postpartum Prep Deck

  • There are many things about birth, postpartum and breastfeeding that no one tells you, but that you really need to know. Written with a doula from Carriage House Birth, this deck delivers vital info that’s easy to understand.

FOR SKIN SOOTHING

Nourish balm

  • As your body grows, you may find that your stretching skin could use some TLC. Use this organic skin soother on any area that’s irritated—belly, nipples, breasts and even lips. This multipurpose balm can also be used as an oil for massage during labor.

FOR EASIER SLEEP

Eye mask

  • Being pregnant can feel exhausting, for good reason: Your body is going through a lot of changes. So getting rest is important, and this super-soft mask (wrapped in our ultra-fine OEKO-TEX certified fabric) makes it a little easier.

FOR LOOSENING MUSCLES

Roller ball massager

  • This is the perfect tool to bring with you to the hospital, as recommended by the doulas at Carriage House Birth. Many people tighten up during contractions, so massage can help relieve some of the tension in your body during labor.

JUST FOR FUN

Stickers

  • Pregnancy comes with so many bodily changes, and our sticker set symbolizes some of the feelings you may experience. Add these stickers to your water bottle (or anywhere else) to commemorate how you’re feeling throughout this amazing journey.

Why Care For Pregnancy: 3rd Trimester & Labor?

Why does sleep matter so much?

Sleep issues during pregnancy are common during pregnancy, with up to 78% of people reporting some type of sleep issues during pregnancy. In the third trimester, 98% of people experience frequent night-time waking, and 15% develop Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS).

Here are some tips that can help:
  • If you’re comfortable sleeping on your side, try placing a pillow between your knees to support your hips and legs and make it easier to stay asleep.
  • Create a bedtime routine that includes things like a warm bath, some light reading, a dark room or high-quality eye mask, and dim lights to guide your bathroom trips
  • Avoid screens and caffeine close to bedtime, and skip late afternoon naps
  • Exercise earlier in the day (at least 4-6 hours before bedtime) to allow your body adequate time to relax.
